Applying Advanced Technology to Support Standards-based Instruction

Welcome to our space!
Use the link below to sign up for a webinar to present your final project. Two webinars are offered. You are required to sign up for one. You will be expected to do a quick 5 minute or less presentation on your lesson plan. There will be a short allowance for questions. You will be expected to ask questions about your fellow student's presentations. All the details can be found in Unit 12.
You will need a computer with a microphone, and headphones (to prevent feedback from your speakers). We will be connecting using online meeting software for the session. Directions will be posted on our class site to help you connect to the session.
Remember that the written NTeQ lesson plan is due on July 119th, and can be submitted through the class site.
Presentation Information:
Some of you have expressed concern over the final project presentation. You should read Unit 12 for more information. Here is some basic information about the process:
You will connect to online meeting software through a URL link that I will publish for the class. You will need to have a computer with a microphone and speakers (headphones are recommended to prevent feedback). When you get there, you will find a page that offers a "white board" area, and some other messaging areas. I will ask each of you to send me a "very simple" (i.e. little to no graphics and sounds) powerpoint presentation that outlines your final project. I will upload the presentations onto the white board when you present. All you will need to do is a brief summary of your final project and answer any questions that the class has. The intent of this unit is to share ideas and experience an online web conference. There is no need to be nervous about presenting. We will just be enjoying a relaxed online sharing session. Please keep in mind that you are sharing your ideas about technology integration to your classmates. Your classmates may or may not teach the same subject as you, so your presentation should be very general. There is no need to go into great detail about your subject matter.
You need to have your powerpoint presentation to me by July 19th, so that I can set them up for the class sessions. These can be submitted through the class site. Reminder: keep the presentations simple.
